Faced with overcrowding and a steeply rising death toll, climbing Mount Everest has never been such a risk. World-renowned mountaineer Mingma Tsiri Sherpa had sworn off ever summiting the mountain again after the devastating 2015 earthquake killed 21 climbers. After the death count reaches 15 in May 2019, he decides that something must be done.
Mingma leads a team charged with removing dead bodies frozen in the snow and returning them to their families. Will his effort be enough to appease the mountain and help Mingma himself reclaim inner peace?
